Eric Dane, the American actor diagnosed with ALS this past April, is starring in the U.S. drama “Brilliant Minds” starting November 24th as a firefighter afflicted with ALS.
I want to applaud him for portraying his own illness in the drama without succumbing to its progression. Unfortunately, this NBC streaming series isn’t available in Japan yet. I definitely want to watch it once it starts streaming.
However, searching on YouTube for “Brilliant Minds” allows you to watch NBC’s trailer.
His recent work available in Japan is “Countdown,” which can be seen on Amazon Prime.
He is actively involved in ALS awareness efforts, including speaking with members of Congress, as reported.
My first encounter with his work was in the American drama “Grey’s Anatomy.”
I wish him continued strength and success.
